Pastor Dan Herold began serving Christ Ev. Lutheran Church in February of 2022. He grew up near St. Paul, MN and attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Elementary School in Burnsville, MN for Kindergarten-grade 8. He then attended St. Croix Lutheran High School in West St. Paul, MN and graduated in 2005. To begin training for the full-time pastoral ministry Pastor Herold then attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Pastor Herold graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary with the class of 2013. Pastor Herold spent his internship year of his Seminary training in Wichita, KS where he met his wife Chauntae. God has blessed Chauntae and Pastor Herold with two daughters, Ellie and Leila, and one son, Theodore. Pastor Herold and his family love spending times outdoors exploring God’s creation. Pastor Herold is also an avid sports fan and loves cheering on the Minnesota Twins, Wild, Timberwolves, Golden Gophers, and the Green Bay Packers.
